Details

It was discovered that Quagga incorrectly handled certain malformed
messages. A remote attacker could use this flaw to cause Quagga to crash,
resulting in a denial of service.

Update instructions

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package versions:

Ubuntu 12.04

• quagga - 0.99.20.1-0ubuntu0.12.04.3

Ubuntu 11.10

• quagga - 0.99.20.1-0ubuntu0.11.10.3

Ubuntu 11.04

• quagga - 0.99.20.1-0ubuntu0.11.04.3

Ubuntu 10.04

• quagga - 0.99.20.1-0ubuntu0.10.04.3

After a standard system update you need to restart Quagga to make all the
necessary changes.
