Notes

AMD EPYC 3rd Generation CPUs (Milan) have basic support in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with the GA 5.4 kernel. They should work at least to the same level as the previous generation EPYC CPUs but not all features may be supported in this kernel. Full support for all EPYC 3rd Generation features is included in the 20.04 HWE kernel (5.8 or later). If you experience problems with workloads on systems using these CPUs, you will need to upgrade to the current 20.04 LTS HWE kernel using the "focal (hwe-20.04) kernel in MAAS, or by installing the "linux-image-generic-hwe-20.04" package directly, or by choosing the HWE kernel option at boot time if you are installing Ubuntu 20.04 LTS from an ISO image.

By default SR-IOV is disabled and must be enabled for enlistment to work. Please refer to the following bug:
